PWI and Web Technologies successfully converted key components of PWI’s live Managing Workplace Violence training, into a self-paced e-Learning course that includes:
- A Pre-test to assess the trainee's existing knowledge of the topic
- A discussion of the escalation of violence and warning signs of potential violence
- Prevention policies
- A final Self-Assessment
In addition to the
raw content, Web Technologies incorporated a continuous case study with
characters, work place scenarios and audio dialog to illustrate the three stages
of progressively violent behavior. Not only did this make the content compelling
and engaging, it capitalized on the learning power of the web-based multi-media
environment. Numerous examples of workplace scenarios were used to illustrate
warning signs of potential violence in a co-worker.

Conflict Resolution
